Woman of the Week: Tia Harding

Babes, meet Tia Harding! Tia was kind enough to share her personal story with us. We know that it is an important one.

*Trigger warning, mentions suicide*

“All my life I had suffered from depression, anxiety, panic attacks and poor physical health. I felt as if no one cared about me and as if the Doctors kept pushing me to the side. In 2012 I had a breakdown and tried to end my life, I was suicidal.

After my breakdown, I had many realizations. I decided it was time for me to take charge of my life (because no one was going to do it for me) and become well and happy. I underwent a few months of intense CBT which helped so much! But after that, I was at a loose end. I started searching for answers but found it increasingly difficult and especially difficult for people to take my problems seriously.

Then in 2016, I came across an article that changed my life. It led me to uncover the answers to heal my depression, anxiety and poor physical health. It was here I vowed to help others live the happy life they deserve because we all deserve to be happy.

In January 2018 I founded tiaharding.com with an aim to help women improve their mental health and happiness. I share the tools and information that took me years to find so that others don’t have to suffer from unhappiness any longer.

I am so passionate about helping others find their happiness because I know how debilitating depression and anxiety can be.”

And, of course, she answered our favorite questions…

Favorite Book: “Ask and It Is Given by Abraham Hicks”
Favorite Beverage: “Matcha latte with coconut milk and honey”

What are you passionate about? “I am hugely passionate about helping women to improve their mental health, become their true self and to be truly happy in life.”

What do you do really, really well? “I am really good at listening to peoples problems with an empathetic ear. I have been through a lot in life and being an empath I can feel what most people are going through. I always sympathize and reply with heartfelt advice. This is definitely my super power!”

If you could do anything with your time (regardless of obligations and finances), what would you do? “I would travel the world first class and stay in luxury villas/hotels. I already travel full-time which is amazing! But, I’m not yet in first class luxury.”

Thank you to Tia for sharing her story, and what she does with the ladies of BBB.
